  • What size options are available?

    • Small - about 3 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide
    • Medium - about 5-6 inches tall and wide
    • Large - about 7-8 inches tall and wide
    • Electric Lamp - Med & Large sizes can be made into a lamp with a 7 watt bulb and eight foot cord with inline switch
  • Do Honeypots require special care?

    • Beeswax candles burn aromatically, romantically, and very slowly. 
    • The votive wick should be trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch and trimmed each time prior to use to help prevent possible melting.
    • If Honeypots are kept near a window please note that the sun will eventually fade the botanicals over time.
    • If your Honeypot begins to look cloudy/white, simple use an old T-Shirt or cotton cloth and gently rub to regain a polished look again.  
    • To prevent your Honeypot from melting, make sure to place on an even surface, away from any blowing vents or fans.  Please note if burning outside, winds can cause flame to flicker and possibly melt or scorch Honeypot.
    • When burning, place honeypot on the Bee Natural Coaster to prevent it from sticking - or - pour 1/4 inch of water into the bottom of the Honeypot as a heat sink.  These practices will prevent the base of the honeypot from sticking to surfaces as it warms. 
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended!

    • Place the Honeypot on a flat nonflammable surface when lit. 
    • Always transport your Honeypot with the votive in the gift box, not in the orb. 
    • Beeswax becomes brittle in cold weather, so use care in handling. 
    • If your Honeypot becomes misshapen, warm it slightly and reshape by hand. 
    • Polish periodically with a soft dry cloth. 
    • Medium & Large Honeypots with no carving on the lower half will float beautifully in a pool or pond.
